After a months-long on-air search for a co-host, producers of ABC's midmorning talk show, "The View," starring Barbara Walters, have narrowed their choices to three women, one of whom will fill the slot left vacant by the January departure of Debbie Matenopoulos. But, no, one of them is not Monica Lewinsky. A spokesman for the show says the White House ex-intern is definitely not being considered, despite aout invitation that Walters and co-host Star Jones extended this month. To date, the show has invited seven twentysomething women to out as hosts. Of those, Lauren Sanchez, an anchor for Fox Sports, and Rachel Campos, a participant in MTV's San Francisco-set "Real World," are the front-runners. The third contender is reporter Lisa Ling of cable's Channel One News, a public-school-based news service, who ising out Thursday and Friday. Walters and her producers are expected to make their choice some time next month, a few weeks later than previously anticipated. The new co-host will join Walters, Jones and co-hosts Joy Behar and Meredith Vieira. Donna Petrozzello George & Gracie again Beginning April 3, public TV's WLIW/Ch. 21 is bringing back "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show" for a nine-week Saturday 8 p.m. run. The run will open with the show's very first episode, from Oct. 12, 1950. The old CBS series spun the popular duo out of radio and into the new medium. The two played themselves, with Burns the straight man for his wife's comical comments on life. As the series' narrator, Burns often stepped out of the action to explain the plot to viewers. The show was produced in New York its first two seasons Moncler Shoes, airing every other Thursday night. It moved to Hollywood in 1952 and became a weekly series, folding in 1958 when Allen retired. "Burns and Allen" rounds out Ch. 21's nostalgia-themed Saturday-night lineup, which begins at 7 p.m. with "The Lawrence Welk Show" and concludes at 8:30 with "Guy Lombardo's Diamond Jubilee." D.P. 'Rosie' on the road The syndicated "Rosie O'Donnell Show" will be heading South for a week during the important May sweeps period. O'Donnell & Co. will set up shop May 10-14 at Universal Studios' new Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando. The popular program, seen locally on WABC/Ch. 7 weekdays at 10 a.m., will be broadcast from a 1,500-seat amphitheater. Besides interviewing her guestsscheduled to include Camryn Manheim, Brendan Fraser, Wynonna Judd, 'N Sync and 98 DegreesO'Donnell is expected to make use of the new attraction's rides and displays. The last road trip for "Rosie" was in February 1998 moncler mens jackets, when the New York-based program did a week in Los Angeles. Road trips are common stunts used by producers to boost ratings during the quarterly sweep months, periods whose ratings are used to set future advertising rates. Viewers interested in following O'Donnell to Florida can write in for free tickets. Richard Huff Dot's all . . . Tonight at 11:35, Craig Kilborn visits CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman." A week from tonight, Kilborn takes over as host of the Letterman-controlled "Late Late Show," which airs weeknights at 12:35 p.m. . . . Cable's ESPN is adding another daily edition of "SportsCenter," which will air at 1 a.m. The show is designed to reach West Coast viewers at 10 p.m.. . . The folks at Nickelodeon are giddy over the fact that "The Rugrats Movie," based on the channel's popular animated series, has grossed more than $100 million at the box office. It's the first non-Disney animated film to hit that milestone. . . . Tonight's "NYPD Blue" rerun (ABC, 10 o'clock) is the episode that introduced Rick Schroder's detective Danny Sorenson last December, his arrival coming soon on the heels of the death of Detective Bobby Simone, Jimmy Smits' beloved character.
